Gems are socketable items that boost a sneaker's attributes. They let you fine-tune a sneaker beyond its base stats and attribute points.
How sockets work
Sneakers unlock gem sockets through quality upgrades. A gem placed in a socket applies its bonus for as long as it stays socketed. Sockets come in types that match gem types — slot the right gem to maximize the boost.
Gem types
| Gem | Effect | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Ruby | + Efficiency | Mystery Box |
| Sapphire | + Luck | Mystery Box |
| Emerald | + Comfort | Mystery Box |
| Diamond | + Resilience | Mystery Box |
| Obsidian | + All stats | Special Events |
Chase the rare ones
Obsidian boosts every stat at once but only drops from special events. Higher Luck improves your mystery box odds for the other gems.Strategy
- Stack Emerald for a USDC-focused earner.
- Stack Ruby to maximize BFIT output.
- Use Diamond on high-use sneakers to cut repair costs.
- Save Obsidian for your best sneaker — it benefits every attribute.
Earning gems
Most gems come from mystery boxes dropped after activities — drop rate scales with your Luck attribute. Obsidian and other premium gems appear during limited-time events.
